Multi-blade fire damper WKZ-O with increased fire resistance. Designed for use in general ventilation systems as a shut-off partition separating the fire zone from the rest of the building (normally open). The purpose of this damper is to prevent the spread of fire, heat and smoke.

Peculiarities

The WKZ-O valve is equipped with a spring return electric actuator of the BF series from BELIMO and a BAT thermal fuse.

The WKZ-O valve can only be installed in a vertical partition (rigid wall),

The WKZ-O damper can only be installed with a horizontal axis of rotation.

Fire dampers are certified according to the fire resistance class:

EI 240 (ve i↔o) C

Where:

E – fire integrity,

I – fire insulation,

S – smoke leak,

240 – duration of fulfillment of criteria E, I and S, in minutes,

ve – damper mounted in a vertical partition (wall),

i↔o – operational efficiency criteria are fulfilled from the inside out (fire inside) and from the outside in (fire outside).
