Pegasus is a wall diffuser with VAV function. It is used as a volume flow regulator in demand-driven ventilation systems. Pegasus has very good induction, making it ideal for variable airflow applications.

Description

Pegasus is a comprehensive measuring and control device for regulating air flow in ventilation systems depending on needs. The measuring station measures the differential pressure using measuring rods built into the installation. The installation is equipped with an LHV-D3 VAV controller from Belimo. The controller specifications are shown in the table below. Full technical documentation can be downloaded from www.belimo.eu. Pegasus has a removable front panel with a choice of LØV or Opus design. LØV has two different designs: with long (L) and short (K) stroke lengths. If the Opus design with adjustable plastic nozzles is selected, (V) indicates variable throw length.

Materials and coating

Pegasus is made of galvanized steel. The measuring cross is made of aluminum, hoses and nipples are made of plastic. The damper is equipped with polyester fabric. The connecting collar has an EPDM rubber gasket.

Application

The Pegasus is installed as a rear diffuser at the rear of the unit using a hanging bracket and a threaded rod or strap. The plenum box is installed in the cutout and screwed to the stud. The adjustable mounting frame is then slid in and screwed to the plenum box. Finally, the front is pressed into place.
